I noted the following

 http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora/19/html/Installation_Guide/s1-pkgselection-x86.html

Note

Only one desktop environment can be selected at install time. To install additional environments once Fedora is installed, use the Software tool or the yum groupinstall command.

I do not recall a previous mention of yum in this guide. We who are familiar with Fedora know yum as the command line system software tool that accompanies Fedora.  Perhaps we need to elaborate with a footnote, about yum and where to fetch the yum documentation.

Hi Sam, welcome to the team.

I've sponsored your membership in the 'docs' FAS group. Now you can
participate in elections, go vote for a release name!

The table Jérôme linked to has a column that will lead you to the git
repo for the Guides. I think you'll get the hang of docbook pretty
quickly, but the hardest part IMO is writing the content and I suggest
you dive into that first. We can help you with the markup as needed; I'm
happy to help where I can, and that's true of many people.

Many of us hang out in #fedora-docs and more watch the mailing list.
I'm looking forward to working with you here and there.
