Hi
There has been a number of important changes to the release notes made
after the translation freeze for various reasons and we need to make
sure we push an update.
Some of the most important changes were imported to the POT several days
ago so the translators could work on them. They will be included in the
ISO spin. You can see the actual content at:
http://cvs.fedora.redhat.com/viewcvs/release-notes/devel/en_US/?root=docs
My suggestion would be to
* Confirm that a note is there pointing to the updated web version
from the one in the ISO image.
Already done.
* Update the web content to highlight the updated release notes a
week
before the Fedora 7 release so that we can refer to it elsewhere and
during launch time
Already planned.
* Provide a zero day update to the release notes package
Yes, this should be easy enough, but it is highly dependent on the
translation teams. After the ISO drop next week:
* "Unfreeze" CVS for XML and POT/PO updates
* Notify the translators about plans for an update
* Set deadline for PO content, can be as late as 24-48 hours before
final release
* Gather and publish updates to web immediately, coordinate package
release with RelEng
