Fwd: Release Notes ready for translation
by Inna Kabanova
Hello all!
I've already written about it to trans mailing list: it seems that not all of RN files on Tx are up-to-date. Can anybody fix it?

Subject: Re: Release Notes ready for translation
It seems that I faced with one more mistake. I tried to translate "2.2. Installation" section of F18 RN in Russian, but I couldn't find these strings on Tx (in Installation.po file). I updated *.pot and *.po files locally and it solved the problem. So presumably there is the old version of Installation.po file on Tx. Some other files may be out of date too.

i'm brad - new here
by brad.b82
being a good boy and following recommendations, I'm introducing myself. I live in Missouri, USA ( it's in the middle of the country ). I'm considering contributing to the documentation project, specifically HOW-TO's aimed at the beginners that have made it past the first month learning curve.

migrating from windows guide
by brad.b82
howdy folks! I made an apperance on the irc channel today, and talked a little bit about making a beginners guide. I got the advice to Be Bold! Also had some +1's on the idea of a migration guide. Now that I'm tired, I figured I'd share the start that I have. Keep in mind, the vision is to make an easy to understand migration guide that doesn't give information overload, yet still teaches.

Hopefully I'll finish the getting help section tomorrow, then I'll be gone for the weekend.
