Voip Technologies! :D
by Mark Raymond Jr.
I'd like to propose my attendance unfortunately, I'd need lodging and
plane.., do I just add my name to the Wiki attendees?
As well, I'm very fluent with VOIP Technologies, like Skype and GotoMeeting,
which would allow us to live broadcast our event, and have users chat with
us and ask questions.

Re: Tx duplicate teams removal-ta_IN reg
by Richard Vijay
Hi Misha
Good Work.
Note "ta_IN" I think it stands for Tamil-India. I think we need to
properly map it and work on it. Just my views
Thanks and regards

While the resources named as language identifiers (like ru or es) are out of sync or contain empty translations. It means that the project translators would lose progress if the project maintainers kill the duplicates now. The progressed modules need to be merged in the right place, where these would be available to the teams members afterwards. This is to be done by the l10n coordinators.

That's 2 weeks before the docs translation period starts and about 1.5 month from now. Then we may ask the project maintainers to run a script to remove all those language resources.

Re: 61 Days until Fedora 16 Guide Branch

Hi:
I added some goals to the section for the Musicians' Guide[0]. What this
document most desperately needs is a thorough proof-reading, and this can be
done by anybody with some spare time. It's a great job for a new contributor
who wants to become familiar with how the Docs Project works, but who doesn't
yet know the tools we use. It's also a great job for somebody with only a
little spare time!
Of course, anybody's help is greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Christopher.

Intro
by Lana Brindley
Hi everyone,
Just a quick email to say hi and introduce myself.
My name is Lana, and I've been a Red Hat writer for a while. I work from
my home in Canberra, Australia. I have business, marketing, and
information systems degrees, and in the next few months I'll also have
my technical communication degree. I'm involved in several women in tech
advocacy groups (including LinuxChix and Girl Geek Dinners), and I also
do a fair bit of speaking about open source technical writing, in case
that can be of use to anyone.
I'm joining the list mostly because I want to keep a closer eye on
what's happening with community docs, and hopefully make some useful
contributions where possible. I recently attended the Open Help
conference, and would like to share some of the insights I gained from
that event, as I think it could help benefit the community.
My main areas of interest revolve around standards, processes, and
improving the overall standard of technical documentation to encourage
and retain users and contributors.
You can find out more about me (and read some stuff I've written) on my
website: lanabrindley.com
Thanks,
Lana
