Hello team,
We had a product call and discussion today. Following topics were covered in the meeting:
- Engagement strategy to grow D&I team
- Discussed about actions/ideas to grow team like to publish D&I article on Fedora Community Blog once a month.
- Process to select the D&I Council Representative and Team Lead
- Actions items for this are to finalize the voting process, making changes to voting app and to make a document listing responsibilities for team lead position.
- Discussed about D&I team decision-making process, yet to finalize it.
- Language Inclusion in our community
- Team decided to define the process to include language inclusion and the tasks associated with it.
- Team discussed about Fedora Classroom Sessions from D&I Team, Jona will look into it and provide more input later.
- Fedora Women's Day 2019
- FWD -2018 feedback survey already rolled out and we will have a meeting again on 20th May after the feedback is collected to plan for Fedora Women's Day 2019.
- Flock 2019
- Discussed about team Hackathon ideas and to open a ticket for more ideas for Flock-2019.
- Team using Taiga for FWD-2019 planning.
- In Open Floor, Amita suggested to have D&I team meeting every month, Jona will take care of that. Also due to time constraint "Event organization best practices guide for D&I at Fedora events " was not covered in this meeting, it will be decided in next meeting.
