Hello Everyone,
Sorry for the top post, but this is on the top right now ;)
Yeah, diversity panel is going to happen day after tomorrow in flock and
we have wonderful agenda.
I am excited, so as the team. Please join us in the discussion.
Here is some discussion points to refer and the preparation going around
for the panel. [1]
Feel free to pour in your inputs there.
Let's rock it together.

Hi all, sorry for the late response! Have it all on my laptop and
also
have a remote copy if for some reason I can't access it.

Hi Everyone, 1st, for those who do not know me, I am a fedora
packager and ambassador. I will be representing the LGBT
community as a remote panelist. On 07/27/2016 10:32 AM, Zach

Video? What format would be appropriate? I need to check
to see where on the schedule this is, line it up to my
timezone, and make sure I have the right hardware/software
setup.
Unfortunately, I emailed flock-staff(a)fedoraproject.org, and
they explained that remote video or audio will not be
possible. I forwarded that email convo to Justin and Maria.

With regards to your thoughts / questions about getting
your content to the panel, remote participation will be
difficult for Flock, but I was going to *try* to come up
with ideas for making remote participation easier, like an
audio stream for participants at another workshop I'm
organizing, possibly using Icecast, but I'm a long way
from being anywhere close to having this up (or really
even looking into it other than a quick Google search
yesterday).
http://icecast.org/ Worst case, it's best for
us to assume there will be no audio/video method for
participation until proven otherwise. If it does end up
being possible, even better. But either slides or a
recorded snippet (preferred!) would be doable. If I get it
before Sunday morning, I could make sure that I have the
video on my laptop and also somewhere remote so that
playing it during the panel would be possible.
Therefore, I am going to record a video snippet for Justin to
play, and get it to him by Saturday night at the latest. I am
thinking of structuring my video as follows: -
Self-Introduction - Experiences in FOSS community (good and
bad) - Ideas for improvement in Fedora -Mike
I linked Justin to this, but haven't heard back from him.
