This problem came in today:
bash-3.2$ ls -al /dev/null
cr-------- 1 root root 1, 3 28 dec 21.32 /dev/null
Anyone else hit by it and knows the reason for? (Nothing much else
than rootshell works, manual chmod to the rescue.)
I suspect the glibc update, but I have actually no idea what update caused
this.
Same problem here this morning. I only noticed it when Thunderbird wouldn't
start for me. Same solution too.
It wasn't the glibc update because I didn't install it. I usually wait a couple
of days on that one just to be safe.
I looked at the last couple of days of package updates
(there haven't been many with the holidays)
but I didn't see any other obvious candidates.
