Just curious on this: In most cases, a spec can be defined such that a
proper URL can be put in place of "Source:" such that a build system
could download the tarball from the upstream source. However, there are
a number of source packages in the distribution where Redhat is the
upstream provider for that software. Is there currently a location
where the source tarball can be downloaded? Or does the source RPM
constitute the official release? Maybe this is something a build
system should handle: SRPM URLs in the Source: tag.
thanks,
