I'm following the procedure at:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Policy_for_nonresponsive_package_maintainers
Does anyone know how to contact Jeroen van Meeuwen? He is not answering e-mails at his listed address or the following Bugzilla reports:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=707934 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=707937
There is also many other Jeroen's packages which would need some maintenance.
Thanks,
Vit

I know he's been very busy and this week has been traveling, so has limited access to the net. Hopefully he will get back soon and chime in here.

I hope so, because he did not updated any package since last October, he did not confirmed any co-maintainers for his packages, etc ...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are workarounds described in the bug reports.
The best way to move things forward is to submit patches.
I'll ping Jeroen in the meantime, but we are both very busy with out dayjob.

In that case approving one or all of the three people who have requested commit access seems sensible.

Greetings.
Another week passed and Jeroen has not responded. Does anybody has some other contact to him?
The last commit I see from him to his package was http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/scm-commits/2010-October/author.htm... Thu Oct 21 2010
The last commit to any of his Ruby packages was http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/scm-commits/2010-August/474340.html Fri Aug 6 2010
I mailed him privately for the first time May 19th with no reply.
I am interested in taking over rubygem-rack, rubygem-polyglot and rubygem-builder since these are dependencies of Ruby on Rails. I also volunteer to take care about his other Ruby packages.

Hmm, not really helpful, and I'm also not sure if this falls under "be excellent to each other"
Perhaps you coulb so kind as to respond to the request others have made to become co-maintainers of your packages?
Regards,
Hans

I have been already approved for several packages I requested, so thank you Jeroen.
