Yeah, pagure.io is (currently) located at OSUOSL (Oregon, USA). While it
has pretty great connectivity, it's about on the opposite side of the
world from eu. ;(
So, we have been talking about how to distribute things more, and we
could also consider just moving it to a more central location.
Additionally, we have been doing a bunch of performance fixes of late,
which may well help out on expensive operations. Look for the next
release (out soon) to be much faster for common operations.
So, it's definitely on the radar to try and fix...
I am based in the US (east coast, but still), and it's still quite
slow for me. In general, Fedora Infrastructure sites are quite slow,
but Pagure is the slowest. :(
