Those version numbers should really be avoided, using the Extras packaging
guidelines for instance. This is because for rpm, 1.0.10rc1 > 1.0.10, so
it'll be a problem when the final release comes out, unless Epoch is
incremented, but that should be avoided as much as possible (by simply
being aware of the issue and taking the appropriate measures ahead of
time) :
