I should add that I'm not using WPA. Previously, it was so broken that
nothing at all worked. Now, non-autheneticated connections work fine.

the vpn(c) plugin still doesent use previous settings properly for me
and i actually just reverted to 0.6 for the while beeing to still have
it working properly.
