One thing I noticed is that service postgresql initdb and

custom actions of that sort.  The new dispensation is that you have
to do "postgresql-setup initdb" or "postgresql-setup upgrade".
This is documented in

I'm willing to document it somewhere else if you have a better idea.

(This isn't new with 9.1, btw --- the last version or so of 9.0
for F16 was the same, since we switched over to native systemd
files.)
