Would it make sense for Anaconda to detect a laptop and only install the
driver the system needs?
Not really, because you don't necessarily know what I need. I could be
installing onto a removable hard drive, for instance. I could be doing
one install and then cloning to a bunch of other machine. And it would
suck for virt, too.
