I went looking, and found that the XFree86 changelog is actually
trimmed to the last 3-4 changelog entries, so that is good at
least. ;o)
Another suggestion for improvement in the emails is that it would
be nice if there was a summary listing just the package names
that have been updated were at the top of the mail.
ie:
New packages updated:
---------------------
foo-1.2-3
bar-2.3-4
baz-4.5-6
XFree86-4.3.0-42
Individual package changelog highlights:
----------------------------------------
foo-1.2-3
* Sun Oct 12 2003 ........
- foo updated to fix bug blah
####################################################
bar-2.3-4
* Sun Oct 12 2003 ........
- bar updated to fix bug blah
####################################################
baz-4.5-6
* Sun Oct 12 2003 ........
- baz updated to fix bug blah
####################################################
XFree86-4.3.0-42
* Sun Oct 12 2003 ........
- Complete support for all video hardware ever manufactureed,
including full support for all features of that hardware has
now been implemented, and all bugs in all drivers and in the
X server itself, and all libraries have now been fixed.
Looks much nicer now doesn't it? ;o)
Oh , lot more nice :),
first begin with simple list of packages does to not to take up
my glasses to see what changes is going on .... :))
If colours get implied too .... (just suggest)
I completly renunce to any glases
thx.
