The thing that I did not like about gnome-scan is the interface.
It resize the window without any reason so that the buttons do not fit
on the screen (I have no idea why it does resize the window at all in
this stage).
I just went back to xsane but probably I should file a bug.
I didn't see that, but its initial window size isn't very good for sure.
It doesn't feel quite as polished as most GNOME apps.
