Any particular arch? And what's the error?
I bet it is the linux/include/compiler*.h stuff.
In any case, supposedly you can just use
gcc -U__GNUC__ -U__GNUC_MINOR__ -U__GNUC_PATCHLEVEL__ -D__GNUC__=4 -D__GNUC_MINOR__=10
-D__GNUC_PATCHLEVEL__=0
instead of gcc, you don't need any hacks for that from the distro.
