I'm giving a week deadline for anyone who wants to let pkpgcounter in Fedora. If you are against its retirement, let me know within a week. Otherwise I'll take it as it is okay to retire pkpgcounter.

Hi everyone,

pkpgcounter (alternative sw written in python2 for counting pages of
several document types - usually covered by CUPS system - and computing
ink coverage needed for printing specific document - never heard of
someone who uses it...) started to fail to build from source.

I would like to retire this package (read it as I will not solve FTBFS
bugzilla, so pkpgcounter will get retired in the future) because of
following reasons:

- dead upstream - the last update on upstream website is 2013

- code is python2 only, which is going to be retired at 1st January 2020
- if someone would like to take the package, then the package will need
to be ported to python3

- AFAIK the package is unused (no user's bugs in long time, no
dependencies on pkpgcounter by other packages...)

Is anyone against pkpgcounter's retirement from Fedora? Does anyone use it?
