application ? I would suggest to just ship one of them.
Or that, yes. Having two applications visible in gnome-software doesn't
look very nice indeed; they'll at least need to have different names and
descriptions to differentiate them.
For what it's worth, I think it's totally fine to follow upstream's
recommendation and keep on just shipping the GTK2 version until the GTK3
version is ready. But then again I don't know anything about Xiphos, so
maybe there is a good reason :)
