I think such CI runs would be very useful even for other "classical" deliverables.

If the live image/netinst image/DVD image/installation initrd/etc. suddenly grows in size by say 20+ %, this is
something that should trigger warnings & should be investigated.

Yes, I think that could definitely be done!
