And some transient files like spools may be backed up, but /var is not
for long-term data
I should have been more explict: Unlike Seth said, /var not for
transient and temporary only.
e.g. /var/lib/ is full of non-transient data, which, if you loose them
due to not having backed up, will let you "appear pretty old".
