You running FC3 stock or updated? (There's a 3-4 second+ delay in kmodule
fixed in the update...)
I was running initscripts-7.93.5-1 from fedora-updates. I upgraded it
with the one in rawhide now (initscripts-7.96-1), but this only contains
rc.sysinit changes, correct?
Anyway, kmodule does seem more stable now. I also did an "alias floppy
off" and upgraded rhbg (see Daniel's post):
