There is something misleading about what it does. yum remove yum in
Rawhide tells
"Error: Trying to remove "yum" which is protected
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running : rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest"
Neither suggestions are applicable here. The protect packages plugin
suggested using a override switch if the user is sure and that seems
more appropriate.
