-1, all the serious software requires gcc, gcc-c++ and make to build.
I actually think that cmake should be added to the minimal build root,
instead of removing stuff. Almost all the packages I work on BuildRequire
cmake (which also implies that they need make to build, and gcc-c++ is the
typical implementation language).
Of the 18K or so source packages a fairly low amount, I would doubt
it's in the double percentage figures, require cmake, so I don't see
why it's useful, just because it's what your subset of packages mostly
require it doesn't mean it's a generally wide requirement in the
distro itself!
