The GConf2 package needs to be split up. Near as I can tell these:
ORBit2,
libIDL,
are actual requirements of the GConf2 system.
These:
atk, fontconfig, freetype, gtk2,
libjpeg,
libpng, libtiff, pango, xorg-x11-Mesa-libGL, or xorg-xll-libs.
are all requirements of what appears to be a diagnostic tool.
If /usr/libexec/gconf-sanity-check-2 was in a subpackage we wouldn't
have any of these dependencies.
