You can even use systemd timers to do it! You can make these files:

ExecStart=/usr/bin/kinit -R
Type=oneshot
[Install]
WantedBy=default.target
[rbarlow@ohm ~]$ cat ~/.config/systemd/user/kinit-R.timer
[Unit]
Description=Renew Kerberos ticket every four hours
[Timer]
OnBootSec=15min
OnUnitActiveSec=4h
[Install]
WantedBy=timers.target
Then you need to enable the timer:
$ systemctl --user enable kinit-R.timer
