Looks like overkill for a configuration we don't build.
But we do. Yenta went static just recently:
[zaitcev@niphredil ~]$ grep YENTA /boot/config-2.6.12-1.14*
/boot/config-2.6.12-1.1433_FC5:CONFIG_YENTA=m
/boot/config-2.6.12-1.1483_FC5:CONFIG_YENTA=y
[zaitcev@niphredil ~]$
This is what CVS log says:
revision 1.45
date: 2005/08/09 19:45:00; author: davej; state: Exp; lines: +2 -2
PCMCIA/PCCARD are now built non-modular for improved resource management.
Realistically, there will probably be PCI replay stuff soon,
which should cover this.
Hrm. I guess I'll watch it and see. The thing is, there aren't any
hotplug events involved into this. Just the driver initialization.
