That's only because it's Microsoft.
I have ten year old hardware that runs just fine, and boots Fedora just
fine. It's built like a tank, it's just as zippy as the day it was new, and
this old Thinkpad will probably outlive me.
It will be a sad day when I can continue to order minor replacement parts
off Amazon, to replace the few worn out ones, but I can't install Fedora on
it.
