I suspect you're not aware of this, being new to Fedora, but Fedora 24 isn't released yet, and is still under development. Since you mention you're new to Fedora, you might want to stay with a supported release version (Fedora 23) rather than upgrade to a unreleased development version.

There's a short window of time where a release in preparation isn't signed, and we''re in that window (see other messages on this list about that)

Rawhide is ahead of the Fedora 24 branch, and will eventually be branched to produce Fedora 25. So rawhide to Fedora 24 isn't a route you want to travel down.
