Unfortuntely, I'm not agree with you... As Ignacio was a big contributor in Fedora, I think that if he was busy in life, he would have told us "I'm busy and I can't contribute any more for the moment" and he disappeared without telling us anything. So, I think we have to expect the worst... Sorry.
Plus, he let his personal-name domain name expire. That's surprising behavior from anyone geeky enough to be that big of a contributor to Fedora.
