Sure, sounds like a good plan to me. Just make sure to move the desktop
file as well, it should always be in the same package as the appdata file.
I'd like to keep it to only one instance of Xiphos appearing in
the
gnome-software interface that will cover the majority of users who are
just looking for the application. They would get the GTK2 build,
preferably. Anyone wanting the GTK3 build should be able to get it
from the command line, directly.
Makes sense to me.
