I think this is a way too high burden on new features. Testing in
rawhide should be enough. Something like pipewire is also pretty easy
to test in a Live system.
There is difference between having a feature available and making it the
default.
I fully support have pipewire replacing pulseaudio as an optional
feature. I am opposed to making it the default without adequate
testing. I am not even proposing a 'no regression' rule. I am just
asking for extensive testing and real-world use, so that an informed
decision can be made about the defaults. The proposed testing is
not enough.
