Unannounced SONAME bump for libssh
by Michael Cronenworth
The libssh package uses wildcards on SONAME version. The package was upgraded from
0.7.5 to 0.8.1 in Fedora 27+ that included a SONAME bump.
Please remove the wildcard in libssh and begin package rebuilds. Stable versions of
Fedora now contain broken software as the package has been released to stable.
Thanks,
Michael

Orphaned rocksdb
by Matej Mužila
Hi,
I've orphaned the rocksdb package. Nothing depends on it and it seems that
it is not needed in Fedora.

Mock build for rawhide is broken
by Vascom
Hi.
I can't buld or even init mock for fedora-rawhide-x86_64 because wrong GPG
key for fc29 packages still present in rawhide.
For example:
Public key for shadow-utils-4.6-2.fc29.x86_64.rpm is not installed. Failing
package is: shadow-utils-2:4.6-2.fc29.x86_64
GPG Keys are configured as:
file:///usr/share/distribution-gpg-keys/fedora/RPM-GPG-KEY-fedora-30-primary
Please correct it.

[HEADS UP] Update libgit2 to 0.27
by Igor Gnatenko
Hello everyone,
0.27.x is released long time ago, but I never got time for updating it. It
obviously involves SONAME change.
The good thing about this release is that it breaks only things in runtime
and only one function changed signature (for building) which nobody uses
anyway.
I'm going to update library as soon as I get time (possibly on this weekend
if no all dependent packages build fine). I will handle all rebuilds
myself, just sending a notice.
List of affected packages is below.

There is a fedora-review mailing list which might be useful.
Cheers!

how to track downstream these days
by Julian Sikorski
Hi list,
how does one track downstream packages these days? The instructions on
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Tracking_downstream_packages
do not seem to work anymore, and neither does their dnf flavour:

About to orphan python-pymtp
by Ville-Pekka Vainio
Hi!
In light of the recent FTBFS reports, I would like to orphan
python-pymtp, because I haven't used it in a while.
There's one other maintainer called "snirkel", sending this email to
them as well.
Anyone interested in maintaining this package?
