Body:
This is the Fedora 11 Preview release, we're just a short time from
releasing the full shebang. Therefore we need the most testing we can
possibly get on this one. On the torrent sites you'll find live images for
testing:
http://torrent.fedoraproject.org and http://spins.fedoraproject.org
Everyone has been focused on fixing and closing their remaining bugs since
the Fedora 11 Beta Release. Please use Bugzilla
( http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_file_a_bug_report ) to report any
problems you find (after making sure that somebody else hasn't already
reported the issues). The Preview release notes which can be found at
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/release-notes/f11preview/ will help you
with any other details.
Thanks and happy testing!

Help with requires
by Neal Becker
I'm having problems with igraph and python-igraph.
igraph builds igraph-devel
python-igraph needs igraph-devel.
I'm assuming python-igraph needs the same version of igraph.
How should this be encoded?
Right now, I have
-------- igraph.spec
%package devel
Provides: %{name}-devel-%{version}
-------- python-igraph.spec
BuildRequires: igraph-devel = %{version}
Is this correct?

presto download saving summary
by Christoph Höger
Hi,
presto is really awesome. It cut down a 170MB download on a 320kbit/s
line to 5MB today.
But where is the
Size of all updates downloaded from Presto-enabled repositories: 2.4M
Size of updates that would have been downloaded if Presto wasn’t
enabled: 24M
This is a savings of 90 percent
summary gone? (taken from pauls blog entry)
I do not get those messages anymore.

diff between 'make build' and 'make mockbuild'
by Neal Becker
I'm trying to debug why 'make build' of python-igraph-0.5.2-2 on fc12 gives
segfault. If I try to debug, using 'make mockbuild', I get a different
result. In that case, I get
ERROR: Bad build req: No Package Found for igraph-devel = 0.5.2. Exiting.
Why does 'make build' find the required igraph-devel, but 'make mockbuild'
doesn't, and what can I do about it?

PPC LiveCD
by Fabian Deutsch
Hi,
there are live CDs for i686 and x86_64, is there a reason why there is
no official live CD for PPC?
Greetings

Status of aic79xx driver in the linux kernel
by Howard Wilkinson
I have been having some problems with an Adaptec 39320A-R card and have
been poking around and found that the driver in the kernel claims to be
derived from an Adaptec version 2.0.15 which was release in October
2005! There is a later version on the Adaptec site from April 2007 - 2.0.26.
I was wondering if anybody knows the actual status of the driver in the
kernel i.e. has it diverged so far that the Adaptec updates are moot;
have they already been incorporated into the kernel but the docs not
updated to reflect this, or ...
I ask because I am trying to decide whether to invest the time to look
at integrating the latest Adaptec drop to see if my problems go away.

Orphaning azureus
by Conrad Meyer
I'm orphaning azureus in all non-EOL release branches (F-9, F-10, F-11) as
well as devel.
It's a steaming pile of crap, I don't use it personally, and I don't have the
time to do a proper job hammering it in to shape for Fedora. As a warning to
any would-be takers, version 4.2 has been released for a while now (the
version in CVS is 4.0.0.4). The package could use a lot of work and now is a
great time to do another review request (if someone wants to maintain it) for
the name change (Azureus -> Vuze).
Regards,
