Update -> b0rken eclipse
by Dimi Paun
Another update today, another significant breakage.
My Eclipse stopped working.
I have my private version of Eclipse (non-native, so it was not
affected by the update), and I'm running java 1.6.0_04-b12 from Sun,
so again that was not affected by the update.
Problem is that now Eclipse refuses to start by displaying a
completely empty dialog (right at the end of the loading
sequence).
I've been running this combination of Sun's Java + Eclipse
for some time without a problem.
I'm trying to figure out what changed, and the only things
that seem relevant are:

RFE: Add URL of project into template of bug for Review Requests
by Pavel Alexeev (aka Pahan-Hubbitus)
I always look for new packages coming into Fedora.
Most time as user. It is very interesting see each day new software, new
possibility. ~80% I skip on stage looking list of new request in
Thunderbird by its title and sort description in subject. Other I read
description.
And I thought around of half others I go to the bug, open spec-file in
my browser, look for the URL tag, copy-past url from it (and it is in
case when it come as plain text, if there used macroses like
%name-%version it require even more movement) to new tab of browser only
to go to offsite!!! Only here I can see what I want - docs, full
description, screenshots, how-to, examples and make decision - really
this software interesting for me and I want watch for this Review
Request or may be even reviewer it or not!!!
I guess what many people do same steps from times to times. And if URL
to offsite of program will be as clickable link in RR just after (or
before) src.rpm and spec links it will be very useful.

Abandon "Default Desktop"
by "Jóhann B. Guðmundsson"
In the resent discussion regarding "audio" and to further enhance the
project and to
allow all desktop environment projects to play on a fair ground
regardless if they are old
grown and known projects or new and emerging one and thus being able to
compete on a fair
ground amongst them self's in the form of live spins and to prevent any
misunderstanding that
an issue regarding one desktop environments might be present and or
affect all of them and thus
have negative impact on all the desktop environments we currently ship.
I propose that we stop referring to and ship a "Default desktop" but
instead will start
referring to their project name instead.
AFAIK what would be required to accomplish this is change all
documentation and filenames to refer to Gnome desktop instead of Default
desktop, Fedora desktop or just Desktop and make minor changes to Anaconda.
We probably would want to create a new Wiki page that would have a brief
description and a download link to their live spin.
The desktop environments spins along with all other spins should be
under the projects total control unless they're content violates
Fedoraproject in any way or form.
This requires the Fedora Board and or FESCO to neither enhance or hinder
a projects growth/content/decision on the projects corresponding spin.
I hope the community can keep this discussion strictly on the
professional notes and finally will reach consciousness regarding my
proposal.
Best regards
JBG

There is NO fork, EGLIBC always will be based on GLIBC. So it will
be a step behind GLIBC, and it is oriented to embedded systems.
NO gain for Fedora.
