FC5 devel question
by MJang
Folks,
Just tried to install what I thought would be equivalent to FC5 beta 1
from the Devel repositories (assuming the freeze is in effect).
I ended up with a fatal Anaconda fault, not sure where to report it. The
traceback is a 1.3MB text file. The first key error seems to be:
DepError: Unresolvable dependancy /etc/init.d/functions in xorg-x11-xfs
I remember reading something similar yesterday, but can't find it in the
archives of this list. Is this a known issue?
If I should put this in Bugzilla, I'm guessing it should be under
Anaconda, in the Fedora Core / Devel version - or should it be
elsewhere?
Thanks,
Mike

Is there any tool that can understand the format of comps.xml? Thanks in advance!
by 王秀文
everyone,
hello!
I am customizing the installing CDs of FC4 into only one
CD.Must i manually edit the file comps.xml and remove the
unnecessary groups and rpms.
I am wondering if there is a tool that can understand the
format of comps.xml.All i need to do is to select the group(s)
and rpm(s) needed. And when i commit i get the workable
comps.xml.
Or is there any tool that can make the job easier to do?
Thanks!^-^

repodata not updated
by Bojan Smojver
Anyone knows why repodata wasn't updated in Rawhide? It is still dated
16 Nov, although there are binary packages that are dated 17 Nov.

yes... and yes... Actually FC2 was the first distro that NFSv4
appeared in... But I would highly suggest using the NFSv4
FC4... ;-)
