Good Morning Everyone,
The Fedora Infrastructure has been running a small service named summershum [1]
for a few years.
This service exploded all the archives uploaded in our lookaside cache,
calculated the md5, sha1, sha256 and sha512 hash of every files in these
archives
and stored them in a database.
Despite several attempts, we never managed to write a front-end to this service
to actually make it usable and useful.
To save some resources and free the mind of the Fedora Infrastructure team
members we have decided to decommission this service.
The database has been dumped and made available at:
https://infrastructure.fedoraproject.org/infra/db-dumps/summershum-2018-04-…
Feel free to grab it there and play with it if you are interested, just beware
that the database is rather large (it is ~10GB compressed and more than 100GB
uncompressed).

Good Morning Everyone,
As announced earlier [1] and after some discussion on the fedora devel list [2],
we are decommissioning the darkserver service.
Based on the discussion on the devel list, there is an use-case for such a tool
and potentially interest for it, but no-one has stepped up to fix the current
issues and our resources are limited.
We have dumped the database and uploaded it at:
https://infrastructure.fedoraproject.org/infra/db-dumps/darkserver-2018-04-…
Feel free to grab it if you are interested in its content or wish to run a local
instance.
We are sorry to see this service go, it has been useful for few years but has
not
worked in over a year and we cannot commit to fixing it.
Many thanks to Kushal for working on it and to all the contributors and users of
darkserver.
Pierre

Greetings.
I'm happy to announce we have grokmirror setup for src.fedoraproject.org
now. grokmirror is a efficient way to mirror remote git repositories.
If you wish to mirror some or even all src.fedoraproject.org git repos,
this is a much better option than polling each repo for changes all the
time.
Details on how to use the service are available at:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Infrastructure/Grokmirror
Any problems or issues with the service should be filed at the Fedora
Infrastructure issue tracker:
https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issues
Thanks, and we hope this service will be useful.
