Hello team,
Since owning the HP Envy x360 Convertible from last month, with the help of both Hans and Peter Hutterer, we managed to improve a better touchscreen and stylus experience on that hardware. As written on my blog (https://blog.thefinalzone.net/2018/11/enable-stylus-settings-on-hp-envy-x360...), it would be nice to integrate a Windows Hello type authentication into the login screen similar to Windows 10 or Samsung Galaxy S9 series using iris authentication.
I have already packaged in the COPR repository (https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/luya/howdy/) and would like much help to further improve the changes while carrying them upstream (https://github.com/boltgolt/howdy) before submitting for packaging review.
Additionally, setting a nice user interface instead of cli would be great for an overall better user experience. The benefit is great for both Fedora and GNOME (other desktop environments are welcome to contribute) for providing an alternate way of authentication.
Feedback and suggestion welcome.
Luya
