Hi folks,
Can anyone take the task[1] of writing a "What's new in F34 Workstation" article for Tuesday publication? You can see the F33[2] and F32[3] articles for inspiration.

I'd have liked to have helped with this, but it's a bit short notice. If I can, I will, but no promises...

I will try, heading out soon for vaccination, but will try to cook something together once I am back. Hopefully I can get some help with editing and cleaning it up for tomorrow.

Maybe next cycle we could arrange this, say, a week in advance....

Yeah, this is on the Magazine schedule for a week prior to the early release target. It just got overlooked this time. I'll make sure it gets more attention next time.

It's a thing we generally do every release, so we should figure out how to get it onto the WG's schedule in advance every time around. It's on the global schedule here: https://fedorapeople.org/groups/schedule/f-35/f-35-magazine-tasks.html

We should probably have it added to the key task list: https://fedorapeople.org/groups/schedule/f-35/f-35-key-tasks.html
That's what I use to track and make sure things are followed up on. Same goes for things like screenshot refreshes on the websites...

If we add _everything_ there, it stops being useful as a key task overview. I think that should be reserved for the big dates.

Yes, but the task to have a magazine article _ready_ and new release screenshots ready are important for GA. We currently have *no* non-devel tasks on there, and that's not good.

I'm super-sympathetic to raising the visibility and weight given to non-devel work. But, the key dates are the ones around which other activities are scheduled. I think the answer is to make the other parts of the schedule more visible, not to add to the key dates.

Agreed. We don't currently have a Workstation WG-specific schedule, but it'd be easy to create one. Is this of interest to the group? If so, what tasks would you want to see on it? I'm happy to attend an upcoming WG meeting to discuss if that'd be easier.
It seems that gnome-software doesn't have the right link for the article: https://ask.fedoraproject.org/t/fedora-34-upgrade-error-announcement-in-gnom...

I just fixed the slug to match what GNOME Software expects.
