How do users find Fedora's gnome-shell-extension-* packages?
They don't appear in GNOME Software, because of missing appdata files.
Is gnome-tweak-tool and its link to the the extensions web site the
only way to find more extensions? Or the only "supported" way other
than using command-line tools to search for packages?
Yes, this needs some more thought. Right now the answer is that they are
mostly meant to be installed through http://extensions.gnome.org/
interface instead. This won't work very well long term though since the
NPAPI plugin interface that the extensions web interface relies on to do
actual installation is deprecated by all major browser vendors.
We'll have to figure something out, but right now gnome-software doesn't
have any support for gnome-shell extension installation.
