Providing Flatpacks besides RPMs to increase the variability of
options for
users is a good thing, but getting rid of everything which is not Flatpacks,
taking the options away, is not only a surprise for me, it is also quite
disturbing. For me, that goes against the idea of Linux and what I like
about it.
RPMs don't work on Fedora Silverblue. RPMs will likely become the base from
which you generate a base OS, or Flatpaks...
