If you enable the Gnome 3.12 repository for Fedora 20 you should get a
newer version of NetworkManager, which includes tui:

Well, thank you, that suggestion solved the problem. It only installed two
additional packages. Having this tool is really useful because being able
to edit connections on a TTY console or when using a terminal oriented
environment like i3.
