I'd propose that the first step in that direction would be to ensure
that daemons are only started when the relevant hardware appears, see
above.
I agree completely. I think there was a goal for F7 to fix these hardware
daemons. So including the packages now shouldn't be a bad thing, with hopes
that the packages will get better before the final release.
