I don't know if there's a better client, but Gwibber will soon depend
on Desktop Couch, which will pull in CouchDB and Erlang - not really
lightweight requirements.
Erlang is a 40M RPM and 105M on disk. Yow. My kneejerk reaction is
that the packaging is insufficiently granular. Debian certainly seems
to split it up into a large number of binary packages; we should
probably consider doing the same.
