If I may throw in my two cents as an end user, with a name like "Workstation" it makes sense to have things like git preinstalled.

We should have it. Little things like this can be our edge over other
distros.

I would also like to include the entire @c-development group
(Autotools, make, GCC, valgrind, etc.). This will be useful for enough
people that I think it's worth having for the convenience, even if it
makes the install media slightly larger.
