Glitter Gallery is currently on the ideas page. We've had students
Glitter Gallery for the last two summers, and it's provided a
lot of improvements and momentum. Mo mentored a student working on
Hyperkitty as part of OPW last year, and I think it was very successful.
The important thing is that before any project is added to that page,
be willing, commited mentors associated with the project.
Mentoring does take a decent amount of time, and is a months' long
commitment - starting now, and going through the end of the summer. Not
everyone has the time for that. :)
Lack of mentors was a problem we face last year too. I suggest, draft the
projects without naming mentors. If any contributor in the community have
confidence and time to guid the students, lets give them an opportunity to
volunteer as mentors.
