Same issue - I can't focus on wallpaper, my eyes are trying to but does not
work for me :D Could be possible to try some focus effect on mosaico instead of
making it blurry? Like with photograph - focus in the middle of the field - it
would be better for eyes and more natural.
Is very similar with this photo I made this summer at FUDCon:

the placement of the band of focus in the bottom versus top part).
Just like a photo with a narrow depth of field, is a very realistic
effect but not found very often as you need relatively capable lenses
for it.
