okay
Thanks for the info.
I have not yet ordered the logos by mail.
I've been following this thread.
I was already thinking about it.
In my work we usually start from a breafing, from ideas and concepts that we want to associate with the brand and then it is when we work on aesthetic lines that reinforce those ideas.
Ideas or concepts to reinforce for Fedora 26 could be many:
- A kinder version?
-Most modern?
- Human?
"For all kinds of people?"
Those who have time in this can guide us to what concepts can revolve around version 26. What can differentiate it?
Once we have a couple of clear concepts, we can work to see how best to express them with a graphic line.
An example: I am seeing that in many of your references you are talking about textures, even motifs and strokes by hand, brushes. This would be worth enhancing if we want to do something closer, more human, something more emotional. It may be fine.
If we seek to transmit technology, speed, future, progress ... just as we would have to go the other way. A cooler style but also very attractive. The last reference you have shown may be an example of this.
This can also work. This reference is the way I am investigating. Concepts or ideas of this: Space, silence, adventure, discovery, advance, remoteness, infinite ...
Anyway, I do not know if it will work with blue backgrounds ... I'll see.
If you serve these considerations, great.
