Please help clean out Trac tickets
by Ian Weller
Hi guys, was helping Todd Thiner (who just emailed us with an intro and
requesting a task) on IRC. We ran across a lot of older tasks and
already-completed tasks in this list:
https://fedorahosted.org/design-team/report/1
Please help out and look for tickets owned by you or that have most
definitely expired and close them as invalid. If the original submitter
still needs that, they can reopen the ticket. It will help make it a lot
easier to those who are new to the design team wanting something to do.
Thanks!

Joining design team wiki page
by Emily Dirsh
I've made a few updates to the 'how to join the design team' wiki page:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join_the_Design_Team
Here's what I changed:
- I removed one of the info boxes that were at the top, and incorporated
it into the body of the article to remove a bit of clutter/confusion
- I cleaned up the writing a bit, clarified a few steps, and tried to
simplify things overall
- I mentioned the design bounties and pointed to Mo's blog (plug, plug,
plug - more ninjas!!!)
- That's it!
Check out the page history for the exact changes, and feel free to
revise/comment on any of the changes I made!

The capital "i" in Comfortaa
by Fabian A. Scherschel
As I mentioned in the meeting yesterday, I love the way Comfortaa looks and
I think it goes well with the Fedora logo, the only problem I have with it
is the way the capital "i" looks. The font is very "modern" looking overall
which I think fits well with the Fedora look, but those serif-like stubs on
the "i" just don't gel with that in my eyes. They also don't fit the rest of
the font, I think. If we could modify the font to drop those, it would be
perfect. I've attached a mockup....
What do you think?

Our weekly meetings
by Máirín Duffy
Hi folks,
Now that we've had 7 [1] weekly team meetings (wow! lol) over the past
couple of months, I am wondering how everyone thinks things are going.
Do you think the meetings are running well? Do you think we could
improve how we run them? Do you think the agendas are too full? Are we
trying to take too much work on?
Are you able to make the meetings? Are you going? If not, how come? Is
there anything we could change about the meetings to make them easier
for you to attend?
How can we make the meetings more fun?
LOL lots of questions! But I want to start a little discussion here. If
the meetings suck, let's talk about it and make them better. If they are
okay, we can keep continuing them.
Anyway, I'm really sorry if the meetings are too boring; I'm not very
experienced at running meetings so I'm hoping we can make them a bit
more fun and useful in the future!
