Another mock-up. This time I've based it on a black background, and
used incorporated a desert theme. I have tried to only use the
colours in the logo, but I got a little confused as the colours in the
logo that was sent to me are different to the palette given in the
usage guidelines at
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Logo/UsageGuidelines.
I am also going to pop to the irc to see if anyone is there for more
immediate feedback.

Alliance and Fusion Fedora Remix
by Valent Turkovic
I have a great news regarding Alliance GNOME Metacity window theme -
Jean-luc, author of Alliance theme has fixed issues on Fedora with
Alliance theme and also made special blue version for Fusion!
Check it out in attachment.
The issue was with buttons, as you can see in this blog post:
http://fusionlinux.org/2010/10/20/fusion-linux-theme-v1/
We plan to package this theme and make it available for Fedora.
Cheers,
Valent.

Hello
I looked at the comment I personally think a blue bar would fit best for all.
See new file in attachement
Can you send me the gtk theme using in your screenshoot,
Bye

APNG
by Nicu Buculei
Usage question: with Fedora, do you know a way to create APNG files?
(animated PNG)
There is a GIMP plugin, with we don't have packaged
(http://registry.gimp.org/node/24394) and other than that, I don't know
any other Free tool for the task. Is possible to create animated GIFs,
but they don't have alpha transparency, their usability is reduced.

Design team meeting today, 1900 UTC
by Máirín Duffy
Hey design dudes and divas,
We're on for a meeting today in #fedora-design. Since the majority of
folks seemed to support keeping out meeting at 1900 UTC, that's what
we'll do this week (making the meeting 2 pm Eastern US).
Here's a rough agenda; if you have interest in any of the items below
please feel free to comment here on list before the meeting or add
additional items:
- Fedora 15 - what's the plan?
- FUDcon Tempe T-shirt design - how are we doing?
- Installer/Anaconda usability review & redesign project for F15
- some progress, see:
-
https://www.redhat.com/archives/anaconda-devel-list/2010-November/msg0013...
- We may be able to use gfxboot for syslinux & grub (going to test it
out) and we may also be able to change the fonts in syslinux
- Fedora RPG
- Open floor
The meeting will be in #fedora-design on irc.freenode.net, 1900 UTC.
